around here....

the last couple of months has been busy. Jon helped move his brother, our and out niece from Texas back to Arizona. Needless to say he drove the largest U-Haul they have almost a thousand miles in one day. It was a long day for him, especially when driving can put him to sleep. Lots of coffee was consumed, that's for sure!
The next morning we pulled up to their new house and the truck was packed front to back, floor to ceiling.
If there is one thing Jon can do, it's packing things like tetris.
Good times.

Since Uncle Michael has moved back to town he has started making jewelry out of rocks. Ellie has always been interested in collecting rocks, so her and her Uncle Michael have made quite a few trips rock hunting together. He even bought her a satchel to put her rocks in, a good Uncle knows that you have to be fashionable while you're in the desert!

Even Shelby, with her jam packed busy schedule found some time to sit with Ellie and look at some of her rocks. Of course, she was only wearing the mask to make funny faces. teenagers!

For these layouts I got to work with the new Kit Mid Century Vintage. I loved all of the Heidi Swapp resist tags, the bottle of Bronzer Color Shine, the mix of the Portfolio collection from Pink Paislee and some Prima thrown in for good measure. Check it out, the price is a steal!

Happy hump day!

Wow, you've been busy. I love the borders on the first layout. Congrats to Jon, by the way, for all that driving, loading and unloading. My favorite is tic tac toe work with coordinating papers on the second layout. Very cool how you did that. And clever use of the punched out circles on the last layout. Great work!
