the second year.

This is the second year I have attempted to scrapbook on the road, documenting our vacation. This year we had an 18 hour drive ahead of us to Gun Barrel City, Texas and to be honest we are on day five of our vacation and I still have not recovered from the sleep deprivation I have been feeling. We have already had some eventful stories to tell and I'm sure there are more to come. Last year our mode of transportation was an airplane and this year we are travelling by car. While I was preparing and packing different tools, embellishments etc. I was surprised how I was pulling different "core" tools than last year. I realized that travelling by car was allowing me more "freedom" with the choices I was making of what to take.

So, here is what my scrapbook on the road currently looks like:
Some of the supplies.

Just like last year I created my "core" pages before going on the trip. Measuring, cutting, hole punching and stamping before we left. Right now I'm just adding the journaling every night or afternoon on the events of that day. Later I will add the photos directly onto the page, into photo protectors or a combination of both.
The other thing that I wanted to hold off on was the minibook cover. I will create that when I get home.

I hope ya'll have a wonderful Monday!
Thanks for stopping by.
loves.

I love that ledger paper. Where did you get it from?

Hi Becky! The paper is from the October Afternoon 9 to 5 Collection and the binder is Teresa Collins. I got everything from Scrapbook.com.

Have a great day!
